And So My Heart Sings...on Valentine's Day

Hello there my beau
I just called to say I love you
For tonight I celebrate my love
Singing young and free as a dove.
I was thirteen living my teenage dream
‘Twas easy just like eating an ice cream
No one told me that love is a mystery
What I knew is that it was extraordinary
I never thought that at a moment like this,
I’ve got to know what love is
I’m young, nobody wants to be lonely
I need someone who could make me happy
First time I ever saw your face,
My heart sped up as if it was winning a race
Tonight, I’ll be honest, I’ll be blunt
I know you’re the one that I want
I’ll stay with you, this I promise
Because you’re the last person I wanna miss
Now I’ve thought my choices through
I can't live without you, I just don’t want to
February, hey now I’m excited
For once again I’ll get to see my beloved
Waiting for Valentine's Day, set aside your work
‘Cause on the 14th you’ll be my firework

A Plan for Valentine's Day

This quiet night I am thinking,
What I could do for Valentine’s,
And then, with my fingers leading,
I started typing these little lines.

This poem is short, but with my best
I shall make these stanzas mighty.
I know that God will do the rest
Because I place my faith so highly.
Valentine’s is ‘round the corner,
And I know I’m not yet ready
But to fill that day with wonder,
I will do to make you happy.
To My Future Valentine

I still remember the days
When my life has not a single ray
I always hoped that in a way
You’ll find me, and you will say
“Oh I’ve longed for this moment to come
You’re the girl of my dreams, you’re my Valentine.”
And now that you’ve found me
We’re as happy as can be
Others don’t understand us
But who cares?
We’re together, at last!
Yes, I know it wasn’t easy
We’ve been through a lot of difficulties
I’ m glad you and I made it
At the end of the day, it’s all worth it
It seems too good to be true
But this I promised you, I won’t give up on you
I still remember the days
