My Dream is Finally Coming True

Finally, my dream of publishing my novel is coming true. A kindred and generous soul/company has offered to publish it.

That thought alone had made me so happy that I could live day to day, floating on cloud nine.

My novel, "The Kalinga Warrior," will see print hopefully in September of this year, 2026. It has been more than a decade since I started writing this novel, hoping that one day it will see the light before I meet my end.

Now, I am debating whether to appear to the public or allowing by brother to do the promotion for me. I am an introvert, you see. I don't want to socialize with people I am not familiar with, especially those who might look up to me because of my novel.

Well, it is crossroad for me, and when that day comes, I will have to follow what my heart dictates.

This novella focuses on the life of a Kalinga man, who, despite people's discrimination, managed to reach his goals in life.

You may want to read it because it also reveals how the Martial Law years were in the olden days. Although, the work is fiction, the framework deals with a few factual occurrences in the Philippines.

You could also learn more about how the Kalinga People live their lives in the old days. I am proud to have lived my childhood in my father's homeland.

You may want to read some of the chapters of my novel. I have published them by chapters in this blog too. Here's the link: The Kalinga Warrior.

My Regret Was Too Late

I have sold my site with the most traffic because I was in dire need of money at that time, and I regretted it.

For a measly sum, I have handed over more than a decade of memories to someone. I should have held on no matter what the circumstances were.

Nevertheless, it's done, and in the past, so I just have to move forward. Now, I'm trying to promote my blog, https://theclamorofkalinga.blogspot.com/, which I dearly treasure since I am from Kalinga, a place I love the most.

I plan to turn it into a real website, and to do this, I need to pay for hosting and a domain name.

So, I am now requesting any support you, my readers, could help me with in any way you can.

I would appreciate it a lot.

I have my Ko-Fi page, if you would like to know more below:

See you soon with a new post. I have to babysit two energetic kids that's why I can't go out and earn. I will have to do it online.

Thank you for your kind attention and support.

Head Hunting in Kalinga

Is head hunting true? What are the reasons for doing such a gruesome act? Read here in my new blog at Jena Isle's Random Thoughts.
