To Write Or Not To Write?

I had decided not to post any paid post here, at gewgaw, but offers had come that are related to my topic here in this blog. Now I'm at a dilemma of whether to accept it or not. What made me reconsider was the fact that the topics were related to the theme of this blog.

I know I can just go ahead and do whatever I want and no one would give a hoot, but I just want to ask for some reactions from you guys.

We are not talking about millions, I know, but this is good money. it could buy me a day's meal, lol...What with the economic crises and so on... lol.

What do you think friends? Can you give me some reactions? Thanks for any input you would be contributing.

Happy blogging!

  1. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as it's related to your blog. Just don't overpopulate it with adds, though.

  2. Go for it, Jena. If the topic is right, perhaps we'll thank you, then everyone is happy. Don't pass up on a good opportunity.

  5. You said the topics are related to your blog's theme/topic. Why not give it a try? I'm sure you can easily relate it to your blog.

    :)

And also, there's nothing wrong with being practical. Go ahead.

  6. It is not evil to earn a few dollars while blogging as long as the content add value to the blog.

  7. I have no problem with bloggers writing these types of articles. In your case, if it's related to your topic--even less of a problem. For me personally--I signed up for one of these sites, but just couldn't do it! It wasn't that I felt guilty or anything. It was more that it seemed to take away my sense of freedom. I am personally much happier writing about what I want when I want. But I don't demand anyone else to adopt my viewpoint on this. I notice you belong to Associated Content. I do too and I like that format, because, if I write something for them, they either buy it or not--and that's the end of it. They don't tell me what to write. It isn't related to my blog's content in any way.

  8. Dear jena, as long as cash don't interfere with what you wanted to write, means you remain yourself, there will be no problem....

  9. Hi Jena!

I can see this as challenge, to integrate the opportunities within the blog's theme.

That way, the paid opportunities will not really appear as one, but just another great post with link ;)

I know you can do it.

    Go ahead and good luck!
